While it's true that I'd rather have normal weather - a good 10 cm of snow or thereabouts - I welcomed the chance to get some of the fall gardening done that had gotten left undone.
I do worry a bit about the bulbs that are already in place 'though....

Oh, dear. That poor mistaken (?) hyacinth. Don't you just want to cover it in a foot of mulch? And a blanket? And play it a lullaby?
Did you see the Cherry Blossoms in Washington DC?? Amazing weather! But- we are expected to get quite cold before the week is out...
