Seriously...I see the chiropractor tomorrow.

There's just two things in that particular space, not including the annuals.
A brand new elderberry bush, and the grapevine. We moved the grapevine from it's original position last fall and weren't too sure it was going to survive.

Happily, it does have new growth so it looks good but it'll be a few years before it's large enough for grapes again.

Karen (must put pictures up soon!)Karenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14443938780113647498noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11291093.post-1117031398068284762005-05-25T10:29:00.000-04:002005-05-25T10:29:00.000-04:00Oh my god! Your back/knees/ankles must be sore ... last week I worked so hard in the garden (moving established plants around), that my hands hurt.

I see you have clay soil too - isn't it a joy? In my old garden, we were on 30 - 40 feet of sand. I used to complain about it, can you believe it?

What's in your 'grape garden'? Sounds interesting.

Mia

P.S. I work at a university too.The Nature Nuthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13520658950811147229noreply@blogger.com
